Beware of trading scammers!

A subreddit for anything related to games (but not sports). "Related" means that posts must contain gaming-related content in the link/post body, not just a "forced" connection via the title or a caption added to the content.

"Generic" image macros/memes (where the character itself is not related to gaming) like Scumbag Steve, Good Guy Greg, etc. will be removed. Something that "reminds you of a game", or "looks like something from a game" is also not an appropriate submission.

The difference is that Newell and Valve actually do things to deserve the praise. Not just putting out some of the best titles of the past couple of decades, but also treating their customers well. Apple and other companies don't do this, so it's not a fair comparison.

I can understand getting annoyed with rampant adoration for a company or its leading figure, but it's not always undeserved.

Isn't it time to stop this soon? I mean the picture is really well done and looks awesome, but jerking off Gabe is getting a little old at this point. Sure Valve is one of the greatest game developers out there, but it's really starting to feel like r/gaming is hopelessly in love with this guy, like that shy 15 year old that fanciess the cute girl in his class. There are other game developers that make good games guys, it's not just Valve and whatever Indie developer this subreddit has a hardon for this week.

Well he is kinda awesome one of the few guys in the industry that really hates Drm sure his company is a drm but its what it should be.

You log on you see loads of deals on different games and steam sales. It also benefit the indi/developers community since they get more money from internet sales then the they get from retail stores.
