Well I'm not gonna comment on her singing and writing. But I gotta hand it to her for being really determined, like breaking into people's houses and leaving her demo cd.

In the end, the people (well, most of them) who become successful aren't those who are smart or really talented, but those who kept on pushing through everything (though of course, there are those who are both successful and smart and/or talented).
