Nope. The original animation is of a lead-core copper-jacketed bullet against what I'm assuming is a steel plate (most likely hardened). These are great hunting bullets since they distort and break apart upon impact of flesh causing a quick demise...

This picture shows the effects of a 7.62x54r steel core bullet (eastern block military surplus ammo) on a plate of 3/8" hardened steel (AR500). These rounds will also decimate concrete block, body armor, engine blocks, etc. They are cheap, plentiful, and 100% legal to buy.

You're confusing your bullshit '80s propaganda scaretactics words. The "cop killer" bullets were teflon-coated bullets that supposedly could cut through armour - something that hollow points are very bad at doing. HPs are designed not to puncture, but to spread out and dissipate all of their energy into their targets. The bullshit propaganda word for this kind of bullet is 'exploding' bullet (even though HP rounds have no payload aside from the lead - no explosives, nothing).

No dude, you are right. I am trying not to repost as possible as I can. I ask many times if my posts are obvious reposts or not. Reposts are still okay, as long as they are not like 2 days new. My personal opinion is, it is nice to remember some good materials, such as this one. Anything we post here can be a repost (think about reddit, one of the busiest websites). I also believe on woahdude no one give a single damn to karma. I sometime dig some gifs from reddit too (this one was one of them and I checked discussions tab and didn't see any repost on woahdude). We have newcomers here, they can enjoy as well.

Last thing, I almost upvote all reposts I loved, it is like reunion with old memories.

(Edit: I found an example (hehe): You toke, go to taco bell, eat the same damn taco again. and again. and again. Good reposts are like tacos.)
