In case anyone was wondering, the end of the gif where the bus crashes into the bridge was staged in the UK to educate bus drivers on what happens when you try and beat a bridge. The only person on it was the driver.

I grew up near a bridge that was struck at least twice by double-decker buses that promptly became open top. In each case, the driver hit it fast enough that they went straight through and left it's crumpled up roof on the ground behind them. First time, the bus was full of kids coming back from a school trip and by sheer luck not one of them was injured - basically if they were older and taller..... Wouldn't have been so good.

After the second time, the council spent loadsamoney installing a roundabout at the junction prior to the bridge to make heading down that way a much more deliberate turn (was pretty much straight before) and installed electronic 'idiot board' signs, triggered by breaking beams at the max safe height for the bridge. It lights up "WARNING OVER-HEIGHT VEHICLE!" with flashing red lights if I recall...

Network Rail also spent loadsamoney replacing the bridge... Turns out hitting 100+ year-old brick arch bridges with buses and a few trucks over the years doesn't do the structure much good... (I actually saw a flatbed carrying piles of straw bales hit it once - the only suitable word is "POOF!")
