Ive had this happen in Halo 3 all the time. I remember losing to a team in ranked. Decided we couldn't win so I just tried to kill the guy who was 15/0 so he wouldn't get his perfection. After killing him he raged and challenged me to a 1v1, said I was playing with my room mate so he said 2v2.

Before the match he was talking bout how me and my buddy were noob faggots who had no chance of winning. Match starts, we use call outs and have better team work. Stomp them. After game lobby. "Wow these kids have no fcking lives..."

i get called a noob while winning often, and occasionally a nerd while losing

my pet peeve is how everyone calls each other "kid". i dont know if it's a generational thing or what. i first noticed it on mtv road rules about 5 or 6 years ago, and was mind blown at how these mid-20s adults all called each other "kid".

as of 2-3 years ago it's apparently now the same on games. i'm 26. if youre out of high school and youre calling your peers "kid", you are a douche

I would say there's probably a sharp discontinuity in WoW players in terms of gear.

This line is wherever it requires a dedicated raid group to get gear.

'No life' gear basically means you have 4-8 hours dedicated raid time per week - usually during the evening, when someone with a life would not be able to do this.
