I am theorizing this is just a circle-jerk karama grab, here's why:

r/gaming is particular has been talking about Psychonauts FOREVER. In fact, it's been very recently talked about with all this Tim Schafer stuff that's been going on.
He doesn't mention the title of the game in the post title. I would have made a self post asking "Is Psychonauts worth $10?"
$10? Jackpot deal! (Probably. I don't know how much it is nowadays.)

Yes, YES, and DOUBLE YES. I just bought it, it hasn't aged at all, it could've been released yesterday and cost $60 dollars and i wouldn't care or notice, the art style makes up for the last generation limitations in technology. One of the first games i ever played was The Secret of Monkey Island, this game's humor is much in the same spirit and it tickles me retarded.

I probably am going to say what others have already stated, but I'll give a try at being original.

HOLY FUCK ON A BAKED POTATO THIS GAME IS FUCKIN' WORTH EVERY PENNY YOU SPENT ON IT AND EVERY DOLLAR YOU DIDN'T SPEND.

I just bought this game myself a week ago and it does what some games only strive to be able to do: despite any flaws it has, it's good out weighs the bad (you'll have a hard time finding things that bug you) and it offers an experience unlike any other.

The story and characters are incredibly well written (what do you expect from the guy that fronted Monkey Island). The levels are creative and interesting.

My only problem is that it didn't transition that well into the pc version in terms of controls. Instead there is a bit of a curve to figuring them out, but other than that, this game is pretty damn well near perfect.

...well that's my two cents. Buy that game, you won't be sorry...ever.

Yes it is worth 10 dollars. To me, it's worth 69 dollars. I have this game on XBox, had it on Xbox 360 originals, and have it on PC.

Its one of the few games that changed my perspective on what video games should be like. One of my top favorites.

Yes. Yes it is. I don't own it, which I should slap myself for not buying it yet, but I have played it a few years ago when it was free around 2005 on an old, but then up and coming, digital game distribution service. I can't remember the name though, but it was kind of like onlive. You could make a free account and get access to a free package of games, but if you payed about $5 a month you got access to more. The name is on the tip of my tongue, but I can't remember it for the life of me.
