I'll go with this.

While the pressure of the gas within a CO2 fire extinguisher probably is enough for such a thing to happen with a heavily modified/vandalized model. It actually has a reduction valve to make it possible for even a small and lightweight person to extinquish a fire without being thrown backwards or hurting themselves while using it let alone flying it like a witches broom.

Still wouldn't be possible given the angle at which the nozzle was aimed (which was parallel to the horizontal). Gravity would have still pulled him down.

Not even close.

For it to even be remotely possible, he would need to aim the nozzle at least a little bit at the ground. The way it is, there's nothing keeping him in the air. No force is being applied to the car to counteract gravity.
