I don't see how you can figure that.

I'm not comparing theists or atheists with racists, but this is the first example that comes to mind.

One person dislikes women, and dislikes asian people (the atheist). One person likes women, but not asians (deist), the other one likes both women and asians.

The person who likes women but not asians is far more likely to get along with the person who likes women and asians rather than the person who likes neither of them.

All throughout history we have examples of deists rather bluntly stating that they have great disdain for those that would say there is no God, but they just don't subscribe to church ideals. Thomas Payne for example, Isaac Newton, and many others.

It should also be noted that a true deist is extremely, extremely rare, especially in modern society. Deists were generally people who did their own research, or trusted the research of others, and just came to the conclusion that things were probably created by someone. Today we call most of them creationists. It's very hard today to do your own research and value science and still come to the conclusion that the world was created by something supernatural. 300+ years ago it wasn't very hard. Even 100 years ago it would be have been reasonable.

Modern deists are practically non existant, and the great majority of those who declare themselves that are either closet athiests or closet theists.
