  3. No personal information. This includes anything hosted on Facebook's servers, as they can be traced to the original account holder. Stalking & harassment will not be tolerated.

  4. No solicitation of votes (including "cake day" posts), posts with their sole purpose being to communicate with another redditor, or [FIXED] posts. DAE posts go in /r/DoesAnybodyElse. "Fixed" posts should be added as a comment to the original image.

            I've been to that beach and it's pretty much impossible to accidentally drive into the ocean. You'd have to stop at a light and turn into a parking lot but totally ignore that and barrel into the beach itself and then keep barreling into the ocean.

            Near where I live, people park on the sandy beaches.

            If they leave their car and go to a restaurant, take too long of a walk, get stuck shopping, whatever... the tide comes in. It's fast, and merciless.

            The night this happened I was at a bonfire on Ocean Beach right at this spot and there were still tire tracks leading to the ocean. Someone had too much to drink, or they didn't want to live anymore. It was also weird because there's no easy car access to the beach for some distance.

Last year we were partying on the beach and there was a truck half submerged, the guy was drunk and told me if I could get the truck out it was mine. It was an 09 F150, I put a little gas in it but that truck was dead. So I tossed the keys in the ocean and said fuck it, later the cops were towing it onshore.
