This argument needs to stop. Taken to an extreme, essentially what you are saying is, "Some politicians in our democratic process are corrupt, let's condemn democracy." Priests who molest boys are not true Christians, and yes they make a bad name for them, but ignorant atheists make a bad name for other atheists as well.
