There is an island in the Bahamas called Staniel Cay which features a small colony of sea pigs. They were imported to a small key right by the main island and have flourished. Tourists come by every day and feed them and the massive pigs swim their way to the boats to catch every bite. They are very friendly, look it up "staniel cay pig island."

Apparently there's an island in the Bahamas where piggies will swim out to small boats because they've learned that people will feed them. I read a little something about it a few months ago, not 100% sure of the details. Still, swimming piggies? SO CUTE.

Just about everyone can float. May be a little hard to get the hang of it, though. The body is roughly the density of water. Works better for people with a higher fat to muscle ratio-- since muscle is more dense. Relax, put your arms above your head, kick a teeny tiny bit.

I've tried every technique I can find, and it has been about 10 years since I first tried. I feel like my rather large skull is somehow affecting my density, but that's just silly. I've even hung on to the edge of the pool to float horizontally while gradually letting go, but I sink almost immediately.

Maybe I'm just too dense.

If it helps, I'm roughly 5'7"-5'8", ~190lbs. My fat doesn't help :(

There used to be an amusement park known as Aquarena Springs in San Marcos, TX, where they had shows built around their swimming pigs, and glass-bottomed boats where you could view the wildlife in the river. Well, the park is still there but they got rid of the pigs and the shows, due to environmental concerns. It was such a fun place when I was a kid though! I'll never forget the swimming pig!
