My mother, and she's not "old."

She thinks laughing at something you've read on the computer is weird (for her, it's akin to talking to yourself). She uses a computer all day at work, and she has no problem laughing at something on TV or something someone said over a phone. I think it's because she thinks computers are asocial (you're not laughing along with friends, family, etc.). She probably thinks of it as a box for purely utilitarian use.
