3G is at least 30x faster than dial up. Gt a cell phone instead.... Or dsl which is usually 2-3 bucks more a month over dial up. Your throwing your cash away. Time = money and spending 6 hours to do 30 mins of work is wasteful. Also your pc is using your power bill. You'd save money if you de-power your pc when not in use.
