That explosion at the end is my favourite thing ever.

It's like a cherry on top of the cake of despair. A sign of eternal sadness, unhappiness and bad luck that will follow Zoidberg no matter what he does. Like the Universe is saying: "No, this one will not have fun. Not even something as simple and petty as playing with a slinky will go well when he's involved." Zoidberg's life is truly fucked beyond what most normal people could endure.

And yet he does. He lives with strong belief that right tomorrow, things will turn around. And they never do. But John Zoidberg refuses to be beaten and lives on. That takes strength, will and courage rarely seen in an animated TV character.

All hail Zoidberg, the greatest hero of them all.
