This reminds me of when I was in Elementary school, and one day after leaving my 1st grade class to go home, I saw a dead bird near the doors. I went back inside, folded a piece of paper in half, and wrote a card for the poor thing. Mainly, I remember writing on the front of it "I'm sorry you died", and I put it under the corpse. Good times.
