I love parrotlets! When hand-fed, they are the sweetest, most loving birds. My first pacific parrotlet was lime green, and she would run to the cage door every time I walked past and chirp until I would let her hang out with me. They just wanna be loved!

My first budgie, named Tweety (I was like five when I named her!), was my best friend. She was like a dog - she'd come land on my shoulder when I called her, and kiss my ear. I used to go out and catch inchworms in the Spring for her to eat. :3 Sadly, she came to a particularly traumatic end when my sister slammed her in a door by accident. She was my first pet ever; I still really miss her sometimes.

I had a pet bird (a budgie/pet parakeet) when I was a young child, really weird and special bird mine was, had a bell like toy which he loved and I think he thought it was his girl, lol, he was never this tame though, never allowed me to pet him like that until a few days before he died, really great and sad moment at the same time. Birds are great, they may not be cats or dogs, but to me they are just as special.

I love my parrotlets :) I have 3, 2 girls and a boy, Echo, Artimus, and Jupiter. Jupiter and Echo are turquoises and Artimus is yellow-split-to-blue (she has a blue rump that causes others to think shes a male).

I've had other types of before, but the only ones I will ALWAYS have will be my parrotlets!!!
