Stop being so god damn romantic about your beliefs. I live in Europe. The cluster-fuck of religions. There has been such a history of hatred and death, war etc. because of religion that it would make all your experiences in bible belt look like shit. Look at Europe now; all patched up and becoming more and more secular by the day(except for the Islam part).

Atheists are the largest growing group in US, there are many more who simply don;t know it. Because of technology they are slowly becoming free.
