It's a funny comic, but, dude, there aren't really any magicians out there claiming their illusions are real Harry Potter-style magic.

They're illusions.

The fun is in the way those illusions melt your brain. And in trying to figure out how they were done.

There's no reason to turn someone OFF to magic. For fuck's sake. It's not the same as religion.

Growing up with an atheist father, this is pretty much what it was like for me. Though, it most a lot of self discovery on my part as well.

"Mom, dad, this santa thing is a load of bullshit isn't it?" etc. At age 4. And the rest is history.
