Reminds me of a book called "The Last Ship" about a lone US navy cruiser that survives a full out nuclear war...and the 'adventures' they have.

Written by an actual navy guy....it's pretty heavy on the philosophical ponderings and light on action.

-edit...not sure why I got a downvote. without spoiling the story for any prospective readers this image could perfectly illustrate a pivotal scene in the book. Wasn't a comment on the image itself (which is awesome).
