Seeing the same old stuff reposted does annoy me, but I think most of them are unintentional. Also, comments complaining about reposts are generally annoying and against reddiquette:

See everyone says that cause they think it sounds so reasonable. But what really comes across is "I don't like what you're saying so you should just not say it."
Personally when something I post gets downvoted with no explanation it bothers me more than negative opinions.
It does not contribute to the post at all when someone says, "This is a repost." So I downvote those comments because of that factor, not because I don't like what you're saying, but because it's exactly like those "LOL" comments...We understand you didn't like it/didn't find it funny/thought it was hilarious/ect ect. Just vote and move on if that's all you're going to say.
That's my reasoning. Though I do share your pain when my posts get downvoted without a reason.

As of right now this has 684 upvotes. That means 684 people didn't see it the last time it was posted or still found it funny anyway.
Bitching about reposts is one of the fucking stupidest things I see people do on reddit. If something isn't new and/or interesting to you, downvote and move the fuck on with your life. We can't all keep track of every single god damn thing that gets posted here, even if we search beforehand, so things are bound to get posted more than once. The community gets to decide if they are worth being seen. Clearly r/harrypotter has decided that this is a valuable post, so that's really all that matters.
