Yes, mocking religion with a ridiculous fake religion is how the ridiculous fake religions started. This is well documented - we have the letters and so on that led to the creation of FSM, recordings of George Carlin's Frisbeetarianism etc. which clearly demonstrate that these ridiculous fake religions were created to mock religion.
