This photo remind me an event happened when I was fullfilling my military duty in a small airfield as a sergeant.

The airfield was in a remote location but there were small olive ranches around and from one of the ranch a dog just get in to the field somehow. On the event day I was responsible for checking out around the runways for regular obstacles and stuff... Long story short as I found out there is a break in happened by a dog, our base commander realized it too. He just started to shout at the dog saying "GTFO my air field you DOG!", "I said GEt OUT!", he pulled his gun and aim at the dog saying "How the hell did you get in my air field. GET OUT!" after some more shouting, he realized we are close and he summoned me. He told me to call for a guard. I have made the annonce and 20 year old country boy come with is machine gun. He saluted and waited for the orders. Commander just pointed the dog and said the guard to take it out of the field. As the guard catch the dog, the dog start running and the guard after him. The commander yelled behind them telling not to turn back unless that dog is out of the field.

Now the funny things were, the guard was really young, tiny guy with a big (2,5kg) gun running after the dog in an air field where it nearly takes 10 mins to travel around with a jeep and the only one entry or exit point.

5 hours later we found him exhausted nex to the dog catched and tied to a tree...

TLDR; Young soldier runs after a dog for a long long time just because he is ordered to.
