It's not about a cultural difference. It's a bad idea for small children (and I'm talking 15 and under) to have sex. Sex complicates everything, because even if it means nothing to you, it will mean a great deal to the other person, or the people that they tell about it. Kids shouldn't be scared by sex, but shoving mommy's throat down a dildo as a 'quirky birthday tradition' is ridiculous.

All of that means nothing because the kids in the picture aren't having sex. "15 and under" also cultural and irrelevant as the children in the photo are well under any age that any reasonable culture deems old enough for involvement in sexual activities. Though it is a good question what they are celebrating. Dildos on a cake would be inappropriate for a child's birthday.

How do you make kids? That little girl will be putting real penis in her mouth in only a few short years, and (god forbid) she might even like it. Sex is human, Kids are human, and they will grow up to have lots of it. I wondered about what sex involved all the time when I was a kid even before I was a teenager. I think to deny that truth and to treat certain things in a hushed manner is silly and even hurtful to children. That girl has the luxury of not wondering.
If I had a child I would have no problem with them being in the same room with a penis cake. Would I suck off the cake? probably not.

But I didn't learn about sex from my parents first, I learned it from hardcore internet porn when I was much too young to put it in context. Does it matter? Thats the way it is. I would rather not have kids in a world where they can see any sex act they want anytime they happen to be curious enough to type a word. But my opinion doesn't matter very much.

In short, yes, kids do thing they shouldn't if you don't watch them and guide them. ITS CALLED PARENTING.
I'm not having kids tomorrow; I expect technology will be even more accessible and ubiquitous than it is now by the time I'm ready to have children. I think I might just tell them about the birds and the bees when they're relatively young so that the first person to influence/inform my kid about sex isn't tony schlong or tina titties.
