I don't mind this appearing again and again because it's a good cartoon.

We're a growing subreddit so this picture will entertain a new audience each time. The rest of us should be able to spot it from the thumbnail and just skip it (or stamp around in the comments, bitching about reposts - your call).

I don't give a shit that this has been reposted. This is one of my favorite comic strips regarding atheism. And there are new atheists on here. Why teach them to be a dick and say "repost" when someone finds something they think is interesting? It's crazy how this "REPOST" shit is just permeating everywhere I go now..

Epic repost but I finally figured out my problem with this picture.

It takes the actions of two potentially separate groups of people and anthropomorphises them into the same entity.

Christians that are intolerant and hate filled bigots, and the people asking for respect of their beliefs may well not be the same people and a response that is valid to one may well be inappropriate to another.

In this example, the atheist in the op's picture is the U.S.A., the bigoted Christians are Al-Qaeda and the peaceful Christians asking for tolerance and to be left alone are Iraq.

Ha, I guess it is a repost. It's funny because I got this picture for a project that I had to do a few years before I came across reddit. The prompt was to make a 3 page section in a scrapbook about our religion...I filled it with atheist quotes surrounded by filler glitter. Got an a, fuck yeah.
