the problem here is that you are unable to distinguish if I am talking of an unborn baby or a human being already born.

This right of "choice" is ridiculous. Lets talk about a pregnancy that was caused by consensual intercourse. The woman made a choice to either a) take the risk without proper contraceptive b) did not take enough responsibility to make sure contraceptive would work

The "choice" was made at the moment that woman chose to have intercourse. She no longer possesses the right to make it again, for time will not allow her. So she gets pregnant,with a human child, one that has it's own set of DNA, the information needed to produce a fully grown human. This child has his/her's own set of rights not only by American law, but universally everybody should have their right to their own life. The woman now has no right to make a choice for the human life to live or die. Same as I have no right to drink half a bottle of vodka and drive, my choice could kill someone, and I cannot say "Officer, it was my right of choice to drive drunk, even if i did murder someone."
If a woman gets pregnant on a consensual basis, the choice of intercourse is THE choice, to take that chance the contraceptives will work or choose not to take any measurements. She can no longer deprive an unborn baby's right to life, for it would be infringing on his/her's right. The unborn baby needs a womb to grow, just as we need a hospitable planet to grow, and the baby needs nutrition through the umbilical cord, just as we need to intake food to grow.

people also like to say things like sperm and eggs being killed is the same thing as abortion (no really this has been said to me) This is irrational thinking that holds no research on the subject. A sperm is not a baby, even with proper environment and nutrition it will never form a human, same goes for an egg. A sperm and egg are BOTH needed to form a zygote. This zygote holds DNA now to form a unique individual. That is when a person is a person.

Now the grey side, my mind is still at battle with itself over the issues of abortion when the woman is raped or the baby is destined to be severely retarded mentally or physically handicapped. like i said, its difficult, its a grey area that is beyond my own ethics. In this post, though, let me stress i am talking about consensual intercourse.
