The Caesar series wasn't that great, in my opinion. Master of Olympus was much more polished.

I definitely agree that it was much more difficult to manage. The Poseidon expansion for Olympus made it even greater, imo. I have Pharaoh somewhere on my HD as well, but am not really sure how I'd say it stands up in comparison, and there was one called Emperor that I enjoyed playing as well, but didn't play nearly as much as Zeus/Poseidon.

I tried the Pharaoh demo a few years ago. Pretty much an Egyptian version of Caesar. Master of Olympus is definitely the best. Didn't know there was an expansion though. Cheers!

It works. I played it few months ago on win 7. Don't remember if I had to do something special to be able to run it properly, I don't think so.

Those are Greek gods.

Poseidon -- green skin.

Athena -- chick in mail armor with spear

Hermes -- dude with winged helmet

Ares -- dude in full face helmet

Zeus -- dude with ludicrously oversized arm

Dionysus -- Gimli-looking dude with wine cup

Apollo -- dude with quiver of arrows

Artemis -- chick in lower right (with arrows)

I'm guessing the one in the upper left is Hephaestus. I can't identify the chick wearing green, the old guy, or the chick in the lower left.

Edit:

Based on the white hair (like Zeus and Poseidon), I'm guessing the dude in lower left is Hades.

The chick in green appears to be carrying food, which would make her Demeter, who's apparently a total MILF.
