Rules

  1. No screenshots, or pictures with added or superimposed text. This includes image macros, comics, info-graphics and most diagrams. Text (e.g. a URL) serving to credit the original author is exempt.

  2. No gore or porn. NSFW content must be tagged.

  3. No personal information. This includes anything hosted on Facebook's servers, as they can be traced to the original account holder. Stalking & harassment will not be tolerated.

  4. No solicitation of votes (including "cake day" posts), posts with their sole purpose being to communicate with another redditor, or [FIXED] posts. DAE posts go in /r/DoesAnybodyElse. "Fixed" posts should be added as a comment to the original image.

  5. Submissions must link directly to a specific image file or to an image hosting website with minimal ads. We do not allow blog hosting of images ("blogspam"), but links to albums on image hosting websites are okay. URL shorteners are prohibited.

  • If your submission appears to be filtered but definitely meets the above rules, please send us a message with a link to the comments section of your post (not a direct link to the image). Don't delete it as that just makes the filter hate you!

  • If you come across any rule violations, please report the submission or message the mods and one of us will remove it!

Please also try to come up with original post titles. Submissions that use certain clichés/memes will be automatically tagged with a warning.

No. No no. Rope is fun. Embrace it.

Also, pain is fun, but you don't need to embrace it.

No it's not. Pain isn't fun at all. Pain hurts. That's why it's called pain.

I'm sorry, but I am inclined to disagree.

I have spent far too much of my life cut, scratched, impacted, concussed, broken, sprained, strained, abrated, constused, dislocated, separated, swollen, lacerated, and infected. Pain can't ever equate with pleasure for me.

It's not really a choice thing anyway. I've enjoyed (types of) pain for as long as I can remember. It's hard to explain to people sometimes, but I can assure you I have also spent my fair share of time in pain.

(Bonus random fact: I can dislocate my shoulder without touching it, and pop it back in fairly easily because of a problem with my ligaments (muscles?))

I always saw that as "doing" which rhymes with "boing".

Do you keep the sex box in the sex dungeon? Or do you own a sex chalet/cottage?

[–]_Make_It_So_ 0 points1 point ago

We call it "the bedroom" at home, but sure, dungeon could work.

Rape is still rape.

Depot sees their employees as an expense. The management refers to associates as "bodies". Don't support Home Depot.

[–]moving0target 2 points3 points ago

sorry, this has been archived and can no longer be voted on

Got news for ya. All companies view their employee as an expense. It's also one of the few easily controllable expenses which is why many companies seem so draconian. I guess some just some bother to dress it up by calling them "associates" or "business partners."

I've heard horror stories from friends who have worked for the Home Depot. Underpaid, overlooked, fucked hours. One was hired under the condition that he work as a temp for the first 90 days, then at the end they let him go, only to encourage him to reapply for his job. They rehired him 30 days later, and he had to go through all the training all over again. Everybody acted like they never met him before. He told me about how they pound their propaganda into your head until you are dreaming in orange. It's funny too, because when you go in to one of these places, their version of customer service is basically desensitized zombies wearing orange aprons. You ask for help and they cock their head and drool. You don't know whether to blame the associate or put them out of their misery. Another friend referred to it as the new Third Reich. He quit after a few months and lived out of his van. Said it was the best decision he made, given the circumstances.

Idk, I work at one in Chicago that gets a lot of traffic and its generally a pretty happy community. The management really takes care of us and they have decent wages and several bonuses a year. Maybe it wouldn't be so great for full timers but it's a great job for college kids.
