I love this game. I played it nonstop the weekend I got it, getting 1000/1000 achievements for it during that time. Even after fully completing the game, I spent a multitude of hours just free-skating around. I spend time at one place, then move on to another, never getting bored.

I liked skate 2, and have all the achievements for that one as well, except for one or two, but I just didn't have the same amount of fun with that one as I did the first. It wasn't bad, but I preferred the original San Vanelona as opposed to the earthquake-ridden San Vanelona. I also didn't care for the Stadium arena at all. The one in the first game was much better.

I recently borrowed skate 3 from my cousin. I'm not a fan at all. I find myself not wanting to do any of the challenges. I realized I was playing to complete challenges and get the achievements, rather than because I was enjoying playing, so I just stopped. I'm not a fan of that world either. Port Carverton, in my opinion, is vastly inferior to San Vanelona.

It really sucks that (in my opinion) the games got worse as they went on, because the first was virtually flawless. The only thing missing from that one was the ability to get off your board. Other than that, I have no complaints.

wow, this was top rated since the second week of skate 1 and its still butter. I was hyped to (as far as I know) pull off the first 1080 in-game and post footy. that game had such a cool community driving it for the first month or two.

Possibly one of the best physics based games of this generation. I don't even try to do anything silly but it just keeps happening anyway. I know it's a big selling EA game and all but I think it actually should have sold better. Maybe people were too burnt out by the consecutive releases in a few years + being too burnt out by the fluctuating quality of the Tony Hawk games.
