I used to experiment on people at university with it, so many people can't handle this level of wierd. I have had several people walk out at different points. I think its a very clever film but tactp behind some of the craziest imagery you have ever seen.

The ending of the movie really redeemed it for the all the wtf and obscurity it contained. For a little while as I was watching it looked like a pretentious artsy movie but that ending changed my mind. I don't think I'd ever watch it again, but I was not disappointed for having seen it.

By the way, that youtube comment is right on the money. I dare you to pause the trailer on a normal looking frame.

That's right. The film was funded by Apple records and John Lennon himself was a big fan of Jodorowsky. Which makes sense if you think about the movie's production value. The director could not have funded it on his own.
