During the pre-show Q&A at the Colbert taping I went to last week, a young buck asked Stephen a question about a particular D&D character's charisma points. After jokingly thanking the kid for helping "alienate 99% of the audience," Colbert hears the kid out on the rest of the question before jumping in to a hilariously in-depth and thoughtful conversation about D&D. It couldn't have been funnier, and it couldn't have been scripted.

After that fun tidbit and some of the references he's dropped, it would surprise me more if he wasn't a Redditor than if he was :)

I wrote about them in rage comics. They were an outlet for out clashing cultural differences, and I would prefer not to make it worse. I do respect them, which was clear in the comment sections, but these differences are also very sensitive at times.
