Are you sure it's a squid and not an octopus? I thought squids had 8 arms and 2 tentacles- with those 2 being longer than the rest. Also they're supposed to have hooks in their tentacles.

I've had a tiny squid like that on my finger, i'm pretty sure mine was a squid, and it bit me. It actually hurt and it was the same size as the one imaged here.

This might be a cuttlefish too, they have a similar look to octopus but are better at changing color. The little dark marks on it's skin look more like something you would find on a cuttlefish. Like I said though, some of them are so similar it could be either.
