Just for the sake of information, I saw this when it was on Liveleak a while ago: the reason the cobra doesn't kill the baby (and why the baby isn't in real danger) is because the cobra's been defanged. It's being sold at a market for some reason.
Does anyone know if cobras can kill by constriction? It doesn't look like it can, but it does look like it tries to.

No if they contain lethal amounts of venom like the cobra they don't/can't rely on constriction to kill their prey.
