In my experience people just assume you're a dude unless you post using the name HotSexyForYouF in which case people just assume you're a dude.

I've been called "good sir" and a "gentleman" more times than I can count.

And lest I be mobbed by killer penguins, I am happily in a relationship and have multiple children.

Which brings me to the third presumption of Reddit: If it's female, it's in a relationship. :p
