As a dog person, I am always so conflicted about this gif. It's awful because that dog is likely seriously injured by this. There is no foul play or animal cruelty, and it's the dog's own doing, but it still makes me sad to think about. The dog also looks older, so he likely had to be put down if he was injured enough.

That being said, it;s really fucking funny. First, dogs are fucking stupid, golden retrievers especially. They enjoy fun too much for their own good, as this poor guy exhibits. I love the way he feels like everything is 100% okay until the second his paws touch the ground. The other dog sees the problem immediately, and just gives the golden retriever a look, like "Really man?". And then the rolling. Oh the rolling. Nothing really needs to be said about it, it's just so comical. And finally, I love how the other dog goes back to check on his new friend.

EDIT: It's totally a yellow lab, not a golden retriever. Probably a yellow lab/retriever mix tbh.

My dog did this. We drove for 2 hrs and the whole time my gf was telling em to hold his leash which I did. That is until we reached a gravel road that we were only doing about 20 mph on. Next thing I know he is gone out the window. We stop the car and I'm frantically calling for him only to have him standing behind me wagging his tail which was bleeding a lot.

He was fine minus messing up my gf's car and is eating food behind me as we speak.

Dog is innocent creature. Dog jumps or is motivated by owner. Dog is kinda fat. Other Dog is just doing Dog thing of being friendly and running along. Fat boy/good natured one flings himself into the void of green. Oh the humanity... He becomes dog thing rolling missile. Sort of weaponized Dog. But I feel for him. He bounces and rolls, almost takes out the bigger powerful friend there. He does his barrel roll/terror dog terrorist attack on big friend. Tragically he fails in this... Still I love him/Dog and want him to succeed as a terror weapon. Yes its too damn funny.

heard of someone that had a puppy in his appartment on the 3rd floor, had the windows open but the (wodden) shutters closed.

Went to work -> Puppy jumped through the shutters on the pavement -> guy got home, not nice

Our Chihuahua did this once, but he wasn't jumping at anything, that we knew of at least. It was scary as hell to begin with because he was just yelping, but after it was pretty goddamn funny. He was just looking out the window and then he decided he could fly I suppose, he didn't.

I've had a dog do this to me twice. First time, she jumped out to pee on some flowers. The second time, she jumped out while I was in the left turn lane of a 4 lane road. Fortunately she had no idea what she was doing; and as soon as she landed she just stood next to the car looking confused. I miss that nutty dog.
