I had a room just like this as a kid. During the summer, I couldn't use it. It was just too hot. My baseball cards would warp, even with the central air on.

We are about to enclose our patio in our backyard and as a result will either have to fix the leak in the awning or replace it. I've mentioned to my wife that it would be cool to have completely transparent walls and ceiling for it. This is where my "office" is going to be moved, which will be more like a music playground. My only concern is how exposed it will be to prying eyes. The space will also be big enough to house a mini-movie theater, workout space, and kid play area, so it will be fairly big. Don't know why l'm mentioning this, but the photo reminded me of it.

Like sleeping past 7AM? Nope, too bad, the suns out and every inch of your room is covered in light. But it would be cloudy during the winter, so the winter would be nice....except for how incredibly cold it would be. Those windows would lose heat quickly. Maybe you can watch TV in your entertainment center....that is directly next to your bed? How are you going to watch that TV? And it's a tiny space, you'll never be able to fit anything bigger than a 22" in there.

This room looks neat, but it would suck to live in.
