Sometimes Americans can be quite insular, and they don't realize how great (in size) their country is, and that their policies can greatly affect their neighbors. For example, Canada has spent billions of dollars on border security and otherwise, because it was virtually mandated by the USA.

I never told the world were number one, were all Earthlings in my book. I just find the huge number condescending Canadians on this website annoying and unjustified, seeing how Canada isn't all that powerful compared to the U.S. And even if the U.S. has done some fucked up shit, and the world views us as assholes, don't forget we've also done A LOT of good, and saved a lot of lives.

except that you (quite recently) elected a conservative ruling party which attempted to remove sam sex marriage, continues to favor harmful environmental policies, and has raised the national debt to its highest level in the entire history of the country (even though the previous government had done a nice job of reducing the debt).
