Beatboxer here, it's not about the sounds you make but the rhythms you make with the sounds.

Hard to explain but try saying: Boots 'n' Cats 'n'a bootsboots 'n'a' cats 'n'a BootsCats 'n'a ... well the rest can't be transcribed.

Actually a better explanation. Let's take Boots = [b] = bass drum and Cats = [k] = the snare, and the n isn't the necessary part, but the s kinda makes the hi hat, so it's [ts]. Example: [b]oo[ts] n [k]a[ts] n [b]oo[ts] n [k]a[ts].

The noises within the [] are the ones we want to isolate. So if you really want to improve your beatboxing, start isolating those when saying Boots 'n' Cats, and removing the unnecessary (oo, 'n', a).

Now back to what I was originally saying, it's all about rhythm and now that you know the notation somewhat I can explain the rhythm I was previously trying to write. Quickly try something like [b][ts][k][ts][b][b][ts][k][ts][b][b][k][ts][b][b][k][ts][b][k][b][ts][k].

Would be easier if you could hear the rhythm but there you go, you will now be able to impress your friends further than just the Boots and Cats beatboxing that most know!

Boob Tit Cock Tit. The "T" gives you that nice hi-hat sound, and you can switch it up with a "Boob Titty Cock Tit"

If you want a four on the floor beat (having the kick drum and snare together on beats 2 and 4), I use "Biff Tiss Pish Tiss"

Say biff
Take out the I
Take out any vocals, so it's just the expression of air, and really really push out that B. The more you do it, the more powerful it will sound.
Repeat with Tiss, emphasizing the T to get the hihat sound
Repeat with Pish, emphasizing the P (the B and the P have the same expression, but adding the sh at the end gives it a snare sound with the kick underneath)
Add one more Tiss and you're done.
