La dee dum, no one cares but I'll rewrite it again. This post has do do with gaming for the Obvious reference to The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask. This is similar to the screenshot you would see in the background of the real game. You can argue that this is not much better than the Fry ones I suppose, but as far as I know this is allowed based off of the voting from awhile back that would've still allowed the fallout guy meme.

The "point" is to make fun of the idea that the world will end this year. "My bad" on saying the Mayan's predicted it, I forgot the detail about it was just because that's when their calendar ended. But you know, it's about getting the reference or not.

This post can't be made every month. Because it is dawn of the final year. There's no way to repeat that every month unless you are going to say that the world is going to end 12 months from whatever date posted. new ones could pop up like dawn of the final week, or month, or final 11 months if someone wants to do that. But not this one specifically.

I'd like to draw attention to this. As that's what really should be a top image on the day one year from the posted date one that. Mine just takes the technicality of being the dawn of the final year of 2012, not exactly one year until Dec.21. Also that comment about Smash Bros and it being the #1 comment sure looks familiar.

Now I had this idea in my head since last night, pretty sure others did as well. I didn't see it before the time I posted, roughly 7 AM my time. I didn't do an exhaustive search since I didn't care. As this was in US Central time, actually half of the world was already well past dawn. Kind of wouldn't have figured it would make it this far.

My base comes from this. The time calculated is based off of what I got from timeanddate.com and here's what I used until December 21,2012. Right or wrong, I wasn't going to bother checking for that. Other than that, this was just a simple MSPaint job. I couldn't even figure out how to make the fonts match exactly. Calibri kind of looked like it but it wasn't tall enough, resizing just messed it up more. I probably should've just blacked out the entire bottom but I wanted to leave it mostly intact. That includes the Super Smash Bros bit even though that has little to do with MM. This version was pretty much tailored to my needs already so I went with it.

One guy has shown that he at least made a very similar one concerning the year before me. Now I wasn't on last night, but it's not as if there's any proof I wasn't. Still, here's his picture and link should you wanna up it instead. Or maybe as he joked, the difference was that he should've used hours instead of days.

Anyway, this was only for if you understood the references, not a doom-and-gloom post. I don't really think the world will end on that day and I'm going to enjoy this year with its good and bad parts like any other. But if it surprised us all and it did...well this picture won't matter much now will it?
