sorry but you are a self righteous cunt posting this...they are comparable, just like 2 artists renditions of a song or 2 different artists painting the same scene....if someone likes the book more, and you are talking about the film, there is no need to get so uptight about someone offering their opinion on the book. it adds depth to a conversation, and it shows the person is interested in the topic and wishes to discuss it further...rather than getting annoyed try this line..."i disagree there, i think that the film is better because..." or "i dont believe you can compare the film and the book, yes they both have their merits, but the way the director deals with the film is too different to compare"
