Kept getting stuck in the story where you have to prevent the archives/jedi library thing from being destroyed. A bunch of goons with lightsabers can do a lot of damage pretty quick it seems.

I think the first was my favorite.

Many many years ago I was babysitting for some kids and they had that game and were stuck. I was contented to just watching and not trying to look like a show off, but then they asked me to help.
...and some spawn points got effin CAPTURED. Headshots everywhere. Stunned children. Got paid for it.

I worked on this game at Free Radical for a good two years of my career (anon post for this reason). It was a great looking game as the leaked video attests. The video wasn't "leaked" as such, we created it to spite LucasArts after they dropped the project after our all hard work. To be honest (and this is just my opinion), the project was turning into a monster. We had every bloody imperial soldgier in the universe modelled to LusaArts' spec, even ones that werent in the films. You could have a shootout on a planet, jump in a ship fly into out of space, dock into an imperial cruiser, man a cannon and fire back down on the planet you just left, all in one level. Despite the ambitious gameplay, assets we had created I wasnt sure we'd ever get it working on the consoles. The art assets were sold off to Bethesda (i think), they were going to make a PSP game with them, dont think that ever happened either.

This is by far the best Star Wars series so far. You don't even need to be a jedi for Star Wars games to be fun (look at bounty hunter, or that commando one). Battle front is way too addictive and awesome to just be ignored. It's just another third installment that we're all patiently waiting for.

Funnily enough I just finished a 24 hour marathon of this game with a few friends. Played every single multiplayer map, with every single game mode, with every single team (eg. played 4 full matches on the same map to play CIS, Republic, Imperial, Rebels). It was the most enjoyable 24 hours of my life.

Note: I'm aware that the original studio is gone. (Pandemic) That's O.K. A new studio might give us a great campaign (like Republic Commando). The game might end up more like modded BF2 than stock BF2 with aesthetic improvements etc. (A good thing imo) If making good BF content was something only Pandemic could do, then there wouldn't be so many awesome mods out there for this series.

does anyone remember starwars battlefront I campaign, all you needed to do was get a jedi then you win. But In starwars battlefront II campaign that was fixed. though I was a little dissapointed about how OP sabotage was in space battles and how retarded some of your NPCs are, such as some that never spawn and others that will fly and crash your Transport ship (forget the name for the mobile spawn point). I mean seriously, I had to land like 5 of those in the enemy hanger due to the game constantly committing suicide with them (I was ten when I played this and I was not an online gamer yet)

Sorry, but the first was passable, the second was buggy and both lacked any significant single player. Even Multiplayer was a mess when my friends and I tried to LAN. I don't get why so many people jizz over this mediocre attempt at a franchise.

Edit: Mine is from a PC perspective, in case 'LAN' didn't give it away, maybe the console versions were passable.
