You do it in clothing stores because it's natural to feel a little paranoid in one. Especially the mall. I don't know if it's all the open space or what but I feel like a freshman on the first day of high school when I visit a mall alone-- very 'on display.'

My first year in college I had a few people tell me I looked intimidating and angry before they knew me. Well I started to try and just smile a little when walking to and fro and now I get comments that I seem like a very happy person. Of course this can backfire if you have put on a creeper smile.

The grocery clerk said I should smile more. I told her I was smiling on the inside. Which I am. I am like all peaches and creams and stuff on the insides, but all business on the outsides. I am like an oreo, bitter exterior and filled with cream... This is better than my normal answer: "Sorry, I'm color blind."
