If I may say so, I believe it is a representation. A representation of what you say? Well of how people fear homosexuals.

Let me explain.

Homosexuals are feared by many people. This is illogical. For some reason these people believe that they are catnip for the homosexuals and said homosexuals would pounce upon them and rip apart their anus for maximum penetrating pleasure.

Alas, this is not true. Accroding to some studies which I'm too lazy to link, there is a high percentage of "bottoms" a.k.a "the woman in a gay relationship a.k.a "I enjoy penis in my bum" and therefore your chances of being raped by a gay man is actually reduced. Only way a bottom could rape you is if he duct-taped you to the floor and force fed you viagra. Then he rode you. This is not a pleasent sight. Please do not imagine it for your own safety.

Also, gay men are not attracted to all men. Homosexuals are attracted to many men on a physical level, but that is the homosexual way. Take you for instance. I am, for the purpose of this post, assuming you are a heterosexual male between 17-27. If so, you are probably quite horny in many different regards due to the high amount of horomones in your system.

I am sure that whilst walking around you would probably "check out" a woman in public. Gay men do this to other men. It is normal. Do not be afraid. The chances of anything happening after that completely rely on you. By this I mean how fruity you seem to draw the homosexuals in, and if you continue the mating ritual by looking at the males crotch and making kissing noises with your lips.

Anyway, again. I believe this represents the fear of homosexuals. That we will hunt you down, and bum rape you. Also, you may notice that the soldiers seemed fearful, but after the bumrape they were blissful. In this case it is more of a fear that you yourself could become a homosexual. I assure you. Being gay is not contagious. If you like things up your butt but don't fancy men, you could buy your wife/girlfriend a strap on and asked to be pegged.
