Too bad I knew him when he was in From First to Last and still sucked. And even then it was by accident because I went to a Bad Religion show.

Skrillex/Sonny was walking around when people were waiting in line outside of the show. The guy in front of me says to him "nice shirt".. Sonny/Skrillex was wearing his own band's shirt. Apparently the guy in front of me didn't know who he was either.

See, he evolves into Skrilltoise. You can tell Skrillex is not fully evolved since it looked like he was not sure when his own beat dropped.

A Skrilltoise's special move is the beat drop. It is nothing fancy and a physical attack that is dirty, but it does alot of damage

Note: The fact that he went from producing chintzy scenester dance-electro nonsense like that of the video I posted, and then suddenly mastering the brostep sound out of nowhere has led a lot of people to believe he is actually a posterboy for other musicians' patch creations and production work, rather than somebody who is crafting the (still-shitty) music on his own. Fun fact.
