This could be a very old photo. Before the Nazi party adopted the symbol it was interpreted as a symbol of power and good luck in many different parts of the world. This kid is dressed as a wizard so it hypothetically could make sense. But still, WTF?!

I thought the difference between an actual Nazi swastika and the ancient symbol was the Nazi's turned it sideways. Thus making it their own new symbol. So, IMO, the girl in the picture IS wearing a Nazi swastika and not referring to the ancient one.

My granddad's old college yearbook symbol was a swastika. This was before the nazis took the symbol and perverted it. It had mystical meaning in the desert southwest among the Indians.
