It was sweet, I woke up and his hand wasn't under my cheek so I asked him if he moved it because I drooled, and he said "no, of course not, I had an itch," but there was drool on me so I knew he was bluffing on that.

The picture reminds me of Project Night Night! It's an non-profit organization that provides homeless children with a book, blanket & teddy bear. I just read an article about the founder and she said

"Victims of domestic violence are luck to be able to escape with their children, let alone their children's favorite teddy bears. Adults need a roof over their heads and food on the table to feel safe; children need to know there's nothing scary under the bed. A book, a blanket, and a stuffed animal make them feel secure."

I still have a bear that my mom gave to me when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. I prayed that all her cancer would go to my bear. Now my bear is dying. FML, at least I still have my mom. Bear is napping on my desk right now. 20 yr old man...

I used to go to bed clutching my Enterteck AK Centerfire modified so it was powered by two 9v batteries instead of the wimpy 4xAA group in the grip. I had nightmares of running out of ammo though. That thing went through a mag like crazy.

The little girl is convinced that the teddy bear is the only thing protecting her from a horrible evil malevolent being. Unknowingly, her parents give the bear to goodwill when she leaves to go to college. The psychologically-reinforced fear builds and builds, overtaking and ruining her life, and eventually she ends up in a mental institution, doped up to her ears on anti psychotics and costing her family and taxpayers thousands of dollars.
