Yeah but they don't look like THAT - and that's the point. Camel spiders are real, but the one created - in its coloration, etc - looks nothing like a real one.

Reddit, after this post i am NEVER going to click any post that just says "NOPE" or "NOOOO" or anything along those lines cause its always a GOD DAMN spider or something fucked up looking. It's a little jumbled... but I guess it's supposed to be a camel spider, which has a really long abdomen. The real thing still has two major body segments, but the abdomen is 10-segmented.

Actually that is a model of a very real class of arachnid known as Camel Spiders. Some species are indigenous to Iraq. Hence the reason the guy made it for his friend.
