Beware of trading scammers!

A subreddit for anything related to games (but not sports).

"Related" means that posts must contain gaming-related content in the link/post body, not just a "forced" connection via the title or a caption added to the content.

Posting Rules

  • Posts must be directly gaming-related. Thus, "generic" image macros/memes (where the character itself is not related to gaming) like Scumbag Steve, Good Guy Greg, etc. will be removed. Something that "reminds you of a game", or "looks like something from a game" is also not an appropriate submission; similarly, reaction GIFs are also not appropriate as submissions.

  • Following Reddiquette is encouraged

  • No "general" URL shorteners (bitly, tinyurl, etc). Single-site URL shorteners (such as youtu.be or fav.me) are allowed.

  • No game or product giveaway of any kind

  • NSFW submissions and comments must be labeled

  • Spoilers can be posted using the following formatting:

  • To mark a spoiler as relevant to a specific game/topic, use the alternate formatting:

Jax and Daxter 1-3 all so classy, though I have never seen any game change as much, I mean from a classic adventure type of game to a shooter type, super awesome though.

HD remake, fucking count me in.

The Precursor Legacy was the first game i played when i was genuinely astounded by the graphics and gameplay, no other release has given me that feeling but the series will always be special to me!

This means about 2 weeks from today, I was 9 and my gay 26 year old neighbor just bought a PS2 and this game. He wanted me to come over to hook it up for him since he doesn't play video games and didn't know how to do it. I hooked it up for him and told me to relax, play and enjoy myself. I played for about 7 hours straight. It was then about 8pm and I went back home. What a fun game. Im sure some of you thought this was a molestation story or something. well, it wasn't. Besides, his boyfriend was home. That man never played the PS2. The only time it was played was that one day I hooked it up for him. He now has throat cancer and is single living in jacksonville. Last time I saw him was at my Bar Mitzvah. That was 8 years ago. Where that PS2 is and that Jak & Daxter right now, I will never know.

Agreed. First one was incredible, but I think the guns and vehicles ruined the second two. The great part about the first was the fantasy element to it. It was such a unique world. The others weren't too bad, but damn, nothing beats that feeling of getting all the precursor orbs and power cells for the first time. God I love this game.

Such an amazing game. I beat the original all the way through sooo many times. Might have to bust it out again.
