I remember the first time I saw this episode. After the end I wasn't even sad. I was just confused. Where was the punch line? Did the network accidentally cut off a bit? I hate you for posting this. I've watched this episode once in my life while watching every other one at least 3 or 4 times........never again.

Say what you want, but I personally found this ending to be sadder than anything other media on screen I've ever seen. This includes things such as schindlers list

When I was younger my older brother (18) and I were very close. Every evening we would watch Family Guy and Futurama together. We always stayed up later than the rest of our family and just hung out. When I turned 11 my brother left home and joined the military. His first evening gone, my first evening alone, this episode aired. It made me burst into tears from missing and fearing for my brother. To this day, 7 years later, it still brings a tear to my eye.
