Calvin and Hobbes will always be my greatest philosophical influence.

Indeed. I have the hardcover boxset sitting on the same shelf as my collection of philosophy books.

My box set is in a shed 800 miles away, with my computer, xbox, and tv. I miss the Calvin and Hobbes the most.

More than once in my life I've comforted a friend by saying "Everything will be OK." If they knew what I meant is that everything will be OK because on a cosmic level we are all ridiculously insignificant, I think they wouldn't have found my words so comforting. But, for me it's really is comforting knowing that nothing I do matters one way or another.

Anyone want to make a 1080p wallpaper out of this or know where i can find one?? This would be some good desktop inspiration.

I was hoping I could find this too. Let me know if you're successful.

Poignant... but beautiful and liberating. I wouldn't like to be the most significant grain of sand in a desert that didn't care.

This has always been my take on it.
