Don't get me wrong, I have a hidden tattoo on my thigh, but body piercings and visible tattoos really boils down to repressed psychological issues.

The conversation below is between me and someone I don't want to name, I was under the impression that it was elitexero whom I was talking to, but I was wrong. This is the last post I wrote up, which is a nice one sided summary from my point of view

I'm not going to retype the conversation you and I just had, but the gist of the story, as I understand it, is that you gave the kid in the OP shit for having body mods. You blamed those mods on repressed daddy issues. I come in and try to explain that what might seem like one thing to you might seem like another to someone else. In your hallmark comment here, you call my post psychobabble, even though it is pretty much word for word what you just said about the guy in the OP.

At this point I'm convinced you have some issue with your parents based on your visible tattoo. You allude to it with comments like:

Everyone screws up, especially with their parents. [...] I spent time and effort to be a better son to him.

and

I was a stupid kid.

Out of context it looks like you are suggesting that you weren't the best son to your father. I don't have a good conclusion for you, but that is how I interpreted our interaction here. if you want to talk about Freud again though, I could talk about how you're projecting your feelings onto the dude in the OP, how you might be an anal expulsive character, characterized by rebeliousness and "artistic' ability, (poor relatinship with your father, and then the tattoo).

I could go on about how your id was untempered as a child, but your super ego began to overdevelop as you aged because of a given event during your teenage year.

But I'm not a Freudian psych myself, so who knows.
